Complete the "pattern" with one of the appropriate images from below. Oh really? Pattern, huh? You think so, do you? WHAT FREAKING PATTERN!! Who designs these tests, honestly? If anyone thinks they know how to solve this abominable riddle, please, please enlighten me. I will be adding more brain teasers periodically, so check back often. Please provide your reasoning for your choices. Thanks.

that's pesky at b est.
triangles and completing the triangle and whatnot.
first guess is far left box. 2nd guess is 2nd from left
3rd guess is double parallel lines again, but only because i have no idea. damn you.
The missing piece is the leftmost one from the bottom row. Won't tell you the pattern yet...
That was my first reaction without thinking about it. But I don't see why it is. It finishes the image to its left, but how does that have *any* relationship to the rest of the shapes? Flagrantly above me.
so i got it right?
cool.
How about: draw the first two images in the sequence on top of each other. Any lines in both disappear. Any not in both make the third image.
(There may be other rules that also work.)
